TL;DR I respect your privacy and my apps do not send, log, or store anything about you in any way.

The Lords of Midnight and Doomdark’s Revenge are pretty straight forward games. They have no need to track usage metrics. I don’t care what screen you are on, or which option you selected. All I care about is that you enjoy playing the games.

Only the desktop versions of the games ever connect in the background to the internet, and this is to perform a small check that you are playing the latest version and give you a prompt to update. No information is sent during this process.

The apps also connect to https://thelordsofmidnight.com via the inbuilt browser should you choose to look at the manual or the playing guide. You will be warned of this when you select the option,

There is currently no login process and therefore no account details to be stored anywhere.

Unless you send me an email or interact with the blog I have no way of having access to you contact details. Should you choose to communicate with me then your email address may be stored in my mail app until I routinely delete correspondence. If you do not wish me to hold your email address for any length of time then please mention this when you contact me or you can make a request after the event to delete your correspondence at support@thelordsofmidnight.com You will never be added to a email newsletter and your email will never be passed on to any other party.

Apple provides analytics for apps to their developers. This information is gathered by Apple and never made available to the developer other than as a count. It covers information like the number of people who are using your app, times opened this week, or total downloads of your app. You can OPT OUT of this by going to Settings > Privacy. There you will find a setting to stop your device sharing information with App Developers.
